Calling all Titan Alumni Leaders

Stay connected with campus, get involved with the university, develop a professional network and represent more than 285,000 Titan graduates. The Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association is seeking applicants for consideration to serve on our alumni board of directors for a three-year term. Director-at-Large positions are available for the 2018 - 2021 term. Board members must attend quarterly meetings, an annual retreat, represent the Association at events and may be asked to serve on board committees and/or special projects. More information is provided below. The term is July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2020.

If you are exploring ways to reconnect and have specific areas of interest, consider participating on a committee or special project Strikeforce team.

Standing Committees

Finance Committee
General oversight and review of the alumni Association's finance, funds, revenue, taxes and investments. The Finance Committee shall report its findings to the Board. Within the purview of the committee are the review of investment policies and practices, fund transfers, tax liability issues, purchasing policies, as well as oversight of financial operations.

Special Committees

Advocacy Committee
Assist with the Association’s legislative advocacy program while maintaining contact with community programs and organizations. Advocate on matters affecting the university.

Scholarship Selection Committee
Review applications, select scholarship recipients and maintain contact with the recipients to encourage a lasting relationship with the Association.

Vision & Visionaries Selection Committee
Review applications and recommend recipients of the annual Visions & Visionary awards.

Strikeforce Teams

From time to time, you may be contacted and invited to participate on a special project related to one or more of these topics:

Membership 
Assist in the marketing of membership recruitment activities and help review benefits offered to members such as insurance programs, promotional items, social events or special members-only discounts.

Marketing
Support the development of Alumni Association branding, marketing materials and communications.

Programs
Assist in the development and implementation of Association programs that include alumni programming, regional events, member receptions and special fundraising events.

Chapters & Student Outreach
Assist in assessing the effectiveness of the affiliate organization program and provide recommendations for how it could better serve the needs of the alumni and student communities.
