TERMS & CONDITIONS

Eligibility:

  • This offer is open to all registered CSUF undergraduate, graduate, post-doc, or professional school students who are age 18 or older and who are eiligible to participate in 2020 Commencement.
  • There is a limit of one design per participant.
  • The design must be your original work and must not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, publicity rights, ownership or any other legal or moral rights of any third party.
  • Grad cap designs, photos and videos containing any content that violates CSUF student conduct policiesOpens in new window will not be considered.
  • You must complete the entry steps listed to be eligible to win.

Employees of the CSUF Strategic Communications Department, Office of Alumni Engagement, Office of University Events and any and all other companies associated with the Contest (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. Eligibility rules are subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All entries submitted become the property of CSUF.

By participating in this contest, you grant CSUF permission to use your entire submitted photo/video/design files and content for design, marketing, advertising, and communications purposes. Odds of winning depend on number of entrants. Inquiries about contest odds, entrants, winners and other related matters may be directed to the Strategic Communications Office at stratcommprojects@fullerton.eduOpens in new window . This information will remain available two years after the contest closes.

Voting:
Top entries will be displayed on @CSUFAlumni Instagram stories from Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. and will end on Wednesday, June 3 at 12 p.m. A vote consists of a "YES" via Instagram poll. Voting runs from when the selects go up on Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. to Wedensday, June 3 at 12 p.m. PST.

Winner Selection:
The entrant with the most "YES" votes will be deemed as the grand prize winner. Winners will be selected and notified on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 and they have until Friday, June 12, 2020 to respond to the notification. In the event a winner does not respond by Friday, June 12, 2020 the contest administrator will choose the next highest voted entry to win.

Prizes:

  • Eight (8) Grand Prize Winners will be selected: A CSUF Diploma frame valued at no more than $210 retail value will be awareded to each of the eight (8) winners. Prize subject to availability.

CSUF may cancel this contest in the event of technical problems or electronic attacks affecting the administration of the contest. Any contest entrant found to intentionally interfere with the operation of the contest, or whose designs are found not to be original, will be disqualified. By your participation in this contest, you agree to release CSUF from any liability related to the contest or your participation in the contest. CSUF retains the right to hide or delete entries on the @CSUFAlumni or @CSUFOfficial Instagram page if content of the entry displays any illegal behavior, the consumption of any drugs or alcohol, is offensive or derogatory, or for any other reason at CSUF's sole discretion.

CSUF is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or misdirected prizes. Prize(s) may not be redeemed for cash. Through your participation in this contest you are providing your information to CSUF and not to Instagram. You acknowledge that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By your participation in this Contest, you agree to release CSUF and Instagram from any liability related to the contest. Information provided will not be retained, sold, or used in any way other than specifically set for in these rules.
