Making a gift to support scholarships is a great way to make a direct impact on individual students.
Awards
The Alumni Association offers three awards in recognition of excellence in service. Student awards are open to graduating undergraduates and graduate students receiving their degree in January, June or August of 2024.
It is encouraged that students be nominated by CSUF faculty or staff; however, self-nominations will be accepted.
Quality of nomination submissions, including the source of the nomination, is held in higher regard over the number of petitions received for an individual.
The Alumni Association sponsors the following awards:
- Outstanding Senior Award
- Outstanding Graduate Student Award
- Distinguished Faculty Service Award
OUTSTANDING SENIOR AWARD
Established by the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association, funds for this award are made possible through the generous support of our CSUF alumni and through various programming and events.
Who is eligible?
- This award is open to graduating undergraduates receiving their degree in January, June or August of 2024.
- We encourage students be nominated by CSUF faculty or staff; however, self-nominations will be accepted.
- Top contending nominees will be invited to an interview on a Saturday in February 2024 to share more about themselves.

OUTSTANDING GRADUATE STUDENT AWARD
This award was established by the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association. Funds for this award are raised through the generous support by our CSUF alumni and through various programming and events.

- We encourage students to be nominated by CSUF faculty or staff; however, self-nominations will be accepted.

DISTINGUISHED FACULTY SERVICE AWARD
The Distinguished Faculty Service Award will be presented to a CSUF faculty member who has demonstrated distinguished service to students. The award recipient will receive a commemorative plaque and will be recognized at the Alumni Association Annual Meeting in 2023. Nominations must be submitted by CSUF faculty, staff or students. No self-nominations or joint nominations will be accepted.
