Homecoming 2017

On December 2nd, the Cal State Fullerton extended community gathered 'round for Homecoming 2017   to   enjoy memories of yesteryear and the excitement of a high-energy basketball competition.   Reunion tents greeted thousands of attendees at CSUF's biggest and best Homecoming yet.

In the wake of CSUF's 60th anniversary, games and prizes were themed around the six decades since the University's inception. Both Titan Alumni and current students bonded over the nostalgic delight of being transported back in time in Decades Village for Giant Lite Brite, Twister, and other iconic games.

Local attendees also rejoiced in the chance to ice skate and sled on our So Cal campus turned winter wonderland! Others took pleasure in posing for caricature drawings, face paintings, or selfies in the Liberty Mutual photo booth while rocking Homecoming T-shirts. Titans filled up on savory food from infamous California eateries Pink's Hot Dogs and In N Out, while adults sipped bubbly beverages provided by Bootlegger’s Brewery.

In the University Expo, participants could check out student cultural organizations, sports clubs, fraternities and sororities and college displays. Fight songs and peppy tunes were provided by CSUF music students to pump up the crowd and alums enjoyed strolling the campus, seeing all the changes made over the past six decades.

Capping off this special 60th anniversary, Titan Gym packed a full house that evening and the game marked a 86-58 win for Fullerton's Men’s Basketball team over Cal Lutheran!
