Isaiah Henderson ’20 recently received the CSU Trustees’ award. After graduating from CSUF, Henderson moved on to graduate studies at Chico State studying kinesiology with an emphasis in adapted physical education and found his true passion as a volunteer working with individuals with disabilities when he was a first-year graduate student. Henderson serves as the treasurer for the Student Veteran Organization and is a peer advisor for Chico State student veterans transitioning to civilian life. ​After graduate school, Henderson plans to teach high school students with disabilities how to be physically active and develop a lifelong appreciation for movement.
