Kaylee Mesa ’22 (B.A. theatre arts) was selected as the National Vision Inc. BIPOC Stage Management fellow for the 2023-24 season. Mesa will work in stage management roles for multiple productions, including a world premiere musical with a Broadway-experienced creative team.
Timothy Espinosa ’00 (B.F.A. theatre arts-musical theatre) joined Boston Conservatory at Berklee as chair of theatre. Espinosa will oversee the musical and contemporary theatre programs, and advance the conservatory’s mission of providing students with training and professional development opportunities.

Martin Betz ’84 (B.A. art) was named the new executive director of the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art. He formerly served as an interim executive director of Mendocino Art Center.
Aisha Rivera ’18 (B.A. psychology, theatre arts) was appointed Napa County Poet Laureate by the Napa County Board of Supervisors. In this role, Rivera will promote poetry, develop meaningful connections with the community and undertake projects that make poetry more accessible to people in their everyday lives.
Brandon Elliott ’11 (B.A. music-music education) received the LGBTQIA+ Advocate Award from the Ventura County Community College District, recognizing the active contribution to a positive campus climate for LGBTQIA+ individuals through advancing inclusive curriculum and expanding research in their field.
