Robin Holmes-Sullivan

Robin Holmes-Sullivan ’86, ’90 (B.A., M.A. psychology) was appointed president of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She is the first female and person of color to serve in this role in the institution’s 155-year history.

With three decades of higher education experience, Holmes-Sullivan took the helm in July 2022 after serving as Lewis & Clark’s vice president for student life and dean of students. She was credited for her pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic, devising strategies to keep students safe and progressing toward their degrees.

Holmes-Sullivan earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
