Matthew Libatique
Matthew Libatique ’92 (B.A. communications-radio/TV/film) received the Franklin J. Schaffner Medal at the 2024 American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony. The cinematographer recently collaborated with actor, writer and director Bradley Cooper on the Oscar-nominated films “A Star Is Born” and “Maestro.”

Paul Carter’s ’92 (B.A. political science) biography “Richard Nixon: California’s Native Son” is set for release by Potomac Books on September 1, 2023. Nixon’s daughter, Tricia Nixon Cox, wrote the foreword. Carter is a partner in the firm Bergkvist, Bergkvist & Carter LLP in Long Beach.
