Steven Combre ’93 (B.A. criminal justice), was appointed by Gov. Gavin Newsom as assistant deputy director of security and law enforcement for the California State Lottery. Combre has more than 28 years of experience in the field law enforcement.
Kim Dwinell ’93, ’11 (B.F.A. art-illustration, M.F.A. art-design) is the author of a graphic novel series titled, “My Surfside Girls.” The children’s adventure series was picked up by AppleTV+ and premiered Aug. 19.

Holdner is responsible for leading the region’s Innovation and Insight, Avant team which crafts data-based, analytically informed commercial real estate analyses for Southern California markets.
