Stefan Bean ’20 (Ed.D. educational leadership) was appointed Orange County’s 12th superintendent of schools. Most recently, he served as executive director of the Irvine International Academy and has dedicated the past 24 years to serving Southern California students as a teacher, principal and charter school administrator.
Anthony Abdelsayed ’20 (B.A. business administration-entrepreneurship) co-founded Mashup Ice Cream Co., a new ice cream brand that provides unique flavors like s’mores, guava cheesecake and lemon cookie.
Nick Nicholas ’18, ’20 (B.A. public administration, M.A. political science) was promoted to the rank of police captain in the Seal Beach Police Department. Nicholas joined the department in 2010 and most recently served as the operations bureau lieutenant and public information officer.
