Daniel Coats

Daniel Coats ’15, ’18 (B.A. communications-public relations; M.A. communications-professional communications) is the author of “Hikes Near Cal State Fullerton: 10 Hikes Around Titan Country to Fit All Skill Levels,” an ebook highlighting walkable routes in and around the CSUF campus. Destinations include the fall foliage of Craig Regional Park, the eclectic shopping and dining scene of Downtown Fullerton, the panoramic views of campus and beyond from the Coyote Hills, the history and culture of Downtown Placentia, and the largest 9/11 memorial outside of the East Coast in west Fullerton.

A staff member at the College of Business and Economics and avid long-distance hiker, Coats enjoys exploring the North Orange County community while staying physically fit through hikes such as these. He hopes to inspire students, alumni, faculty and staff to undertake similar ventures while in the Titan sphere.
